small town, BIG ADVENTURE

Our goal is to find you a well-suited job placement that is consistent with your interests, giftings, and training. There are a wide variety of potential job placements for highlands fellows in the Laurel Highlands. Fellows will experience vocational development and training in varied regional workplaces.

We are excited to welcome fellows into the life of St. Paul’s as you worship, serve, and build relationships alongside us. Purposeful opportunities abound for fellows to grow friendships with one another as well as multi-generational friendships inside and outside our church family.

Whether in their workplaces, on our missional farm, or anywhere else in our community, fellows will join us in loving the land and its people well for God’s Kingdom’s sake. Wholistic growth is a priority here at Highlands Fellows.

God did not create us to spend all our waking hours working, living, and playing in indoor and virtual spaces but to engage the wonders of his created world. The Laurel Highlands provide endless opportunities for outdoor adventures. Spend 9 months with us cultivating a more outdoors-oriented lifestyle.
Our Vision
Whether or not you see yourself in a rural county long-term, these nine months of vocational work, recreational adventure, experiential learning, leadership development, theological training, mentorship, vibrant church community, and enjoying the small-town pace of life and country charm will cultivate a deep appreciation of small towns and their people. More importantly, this rich experience will launch Fellows into engaging God’s Kingdom work wherever they are called.
